Empowher Hour:
A space to connect, learn and be inspired. These quarterly events bring together entrepreneurs and business professionals to build meaningful relationships while gaining fresh insights from dynamic speakers, fireside chats or panels. Select sessions can also include a hands-on activity designed to spark creativity and motivation—leaving you with both practical takeaways and powerful connections to fuel your business journey.
DreamBuilder Academy:
The Prestamos Women’s Business Center brings the DreamBuilder program to life with a 7-week, instructor-led virtual cohort. This unique program allows entrepreneurs to not only learn business fundamentals but also connect with peers, share experiences and build a supportive community of like-minded business owners.
Instructors — who are experienced business advisors, entrepreneurs and educators — guide participants through the DreamBuilder content and expand on it with real-world applications. Each 2-hour weekly session combines practical knowledge with interactive learning, giving participants tools they can apply immediately to their own businesses.
DreamBuilder consists of 13 modules that create a step-by-step framework for starting or growing a business. Topics include business planning, marketing, pricing, management, accounting, managing risk, finding funding, setting goals and more. Throughout the program, participants work toward completing a personalized business plan while gaining fresh perspectives on entrepreneurship.
At the end of the course, students graduate with:
- A completed business plan
- A certificate of completion
- A stronger network of entrepreneurial peers
DreamBuilder was designed specifically for women by the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University in partnership with Freeport-McMoRan, ensuring the program is both accessible and world-class.
